He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Myette and Evelyn M. Myette (Toohy); and his brother Richard F. Myette. He is survived by: his wife Brenda A. Myette (Hughes); his children, Margaret "Meg" McDonough (Michael), James "Jim" Myette, Jr. (Ann Marie), Mary Catherine "Kate" Myette, Anne Elizabeth "Liz" Roche (Bill) and Edward "Eddie" Myette; his grandchildren, Ashley Lafreniere (Alex), Lauren Gomes (John), Daniel McDonough, Matthew McDonough, Bridget McDonough, Kayla Roche, Jamie Roche and Shawn Roche; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Amelia and Bennett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (600 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (854 Providence St, West Warwick, RI 02893).
