She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Rothaug and Ethel Rothaug (McCarthy) of Lynnbrook; her husband Norman W. Henderson of Weston; and her former husband John N. Rizzi of Jamaica Estates, NY. She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis of Wickford, RI and Marguerite (Brenda) of Tiverton, RI; and her granddaughter Emily of Wickford. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an institution that Joan enthusiastically supported.
