He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. O'Brien and Grace O'Brien (Girardi); and his sisters, Grace Shulz, Ruth McElhiney and Lucille K. Hall.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth McGarry of Cranston.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Augustine Church (20 Old Rd, Providence, RI 02908).
