She was predeceased by: her parents, Basilio Gemma and Filomena Gemma (Monti); and her siblings, Peter, Basil, Greg Gemma and RoseMarie Martin.
She is survived by: her husband Nicholas; her children, Nicholas G Ruggieri Jr. of North Kingstown, Dr. Robert P. Ruggieri (Joan Kagawa) of Honolulu, Donald L. Ruggieri (Joann) of Cranston, Dr. Richard J. Ruggieri (Kelly Colbert) of North Kingstown, Frank P. Ruggieri of North Kingstown, Joseph A. Ruggieri (Sherri) of Richmond and Celeste Jones (Erik Jones) of North Kingstown; and her sister Anna Laurelli. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
