It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Kent of Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Kent to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edwards and Rose Edwards (Manzella); her son Robert Kent; and her siblings, William, John Edwards and Kathleen Powers.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Kent; her daughter Kathy Kent (Paul Long); and her grandchildren, Ashley Boudreau, Abbie MacBeth and Mary MacBeth. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (1 Warwick Ave, Cranston, RI 02905). A burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Ri Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to a charity of one's choice.
