It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Schiappa of Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Schiappa (Marraffino); and his parents, Luigi Schiappa and Giovanna Schiappa (Sinapi). He is survived by: his sons, David Schiappa (Sheri) of Cranston and Michael M. Schiappa (Erica) of Cranston; his grandchildren, Aria, Andrew, Lily and Aubrey; and his siblings, Antonio Schiappa (Rosalba Damiano), Franco, Salvatore (Pietro Schiappa) and Angela Milano (Francesco Schiappa) of Johnston.
