She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard E. "Bernie" Long; her parents, Joseph Powers and Marion Powers (Seymour); her daughter Jeanine Thompson (Joe); and her brothers, Joseph, Richard and Eugene "Barney" Powers.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Alves (late Manny Alves), Maureen Tyson (Stephen) and Bernard Long (Shirley); her grandchildren, Cailin Thompson (Jeramie Marshall), Colleen DiGregorio (Jason), Miranda and Riley Long; her great grandchild Riley DiGregorio; and her brother James Powers.
