It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Samaras (Cranston, Rhode Island), who passed away on September 12, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Charles Samaras and Nikki Samaras Deary; her spouse Spiro Charles Samaras; her daughter Cynthia Samaras; her parents, Stamati (Nikki Chiavaras) and Ilias; her daughter Mary; her siblings, Angela Panichas, Stephanie Chiavaras, Peter, James, Daniel, George and John Chiavaras; her sister-in-law Angie Sambatakos; James and Paul.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (175 Oaklawn Ave, Cranston, RI 02920). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
