She was predeceased by: her parents, James Diffley and Kathleen Diffley (Marker); her husband Wayne L. Carpenter; and her daughter Dawn M. Carpenter. She is survived by: her siblings, Colleen Achin (Mark) and Timothy E. Diffley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
