He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara H. Given (Burgess); his parents, James H. Given and Loretta I. Given (Donahue); his child Thomas F. Given; his brother James L. Given; and his great grandchild Audrey Hutchins.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine M. Fox (John), Patricia A. Thomas (Harold), James P. Given (Paula), William J. Given, Diane M. Roche (Scott) and Joan M. Spaulding (Timothy); his siblings, Paul A. Given and Barbara M. Timmins; his grandchildren, Barbara Fox-Rushing (Blake), Stephen, Robert, Matthew Fox, Michael, William, Allyson, Daniel, Patrick Thomas, Petrina, James (Cassidy), Nicholas Given, Alexsandra, Jaime, Abigayle, Hanna Given, Emily, Thomas Roche, Sophie and Annie Spaulding; and his great grandchildren, Oliver Rushing, Thomas Ives Jr. and Julian Hutchins.
