Robert D. Armstrong Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert D. Armstrong of Cranston, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Armstrong and Ann M. Armstrong (Coletti). He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Armstrong (Lyons); his grandchildren, Jillian Pullano (Scott), Bryan Rotondo, Alexis Florio, Jeffrey Degraide and Kayleigh Cousineau (David); his great grandchildren, Luca Pullano, Viviana Pullano, Ryan Degraide, Riley Degraide, Lydia Cousineau and David Cousineau; his siblings, Walter Armstrong and Debra Garzone; his son Thomas B. Armstrong; and his siblings, Henry B. Armstrong Jr. and Audrey Dominques.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921). A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at the St. Ann Cemetery (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).

Armstrong will be remembered as a devoted family man whose love knew no bounds, a leader in business, and a dedicated community member whose spirit will continue to inspire us all.
