He is survived by: his wife Mary J. Johnson-Champagne; and his sons, David B. Champagne (Rodney Roderick) of East Greenwich and James Shepherd (Christine) of Lake Worth, FL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
