He is survived by: his son Derrick Gelsomino; his daughter-in-law Valerie Gelsomino; his daughter Amanda Gelsomino; his son-in-law Dante Lopardo; and his grandchildren, Capri, Leo, Viana Lopardo, Niko and Carmen Gelsomino.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
