He was predeceased by: his sisters, Joan Valinote and Marilyn Schoop. He is survived by: his children, Mary Forti (Mark), William F. Powers Jr. (Martha Sherrill) and Joshua Powers (Amanda); his grandchildren, Madeleine Forti, Lydia Forti and Will Powers; and his sister Barbara McCool.
