Alfredo G. Afonso Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfredo G. Afonso of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alfredo shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alfredo farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Gracinda "Grace" Afonso; and his parents, Abilio Afonso and Maria Afonso (Gomes). He is survived by: his sister Lucillia Gomes Goncalves of Central Falls; and his nephew Leonel "Leo" Goncalves (Paula) of North Attleboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
