He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Parkinson and Joan Gilkenson; and his sister Susan Parkinson. He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Parkinson (Lamarre); his son Jamie Lamarre (Sarah) of West Warwick; his sister Sandra "Sandy" Cascione of Cranston; his nephews, Kevin and Joshua Cascione; his niece Sarah Cascione; and his pets, Calvin and Pandora.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Rhode Home Rescues, 1084 W Shore Rd, Warwick, RI 02889.
