He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl M. Bishop and Charlotte H. Bishop (McNeil); his grandson Jayson Rossi; his stepson Rick Dougan; and his sister Elaine Pignolet.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Simskie); his children, Kimberly Rossi (Bishop), Keith Bishop (Kelly), Kyle Bishop (Nicole Laferte) and Kristen Bishop (David Ventura); his stepchildren, James Dougan (Diane Dougan) and Dorn Dougan; his brother Stephen Bishop (Debbie); his brother-in-law Gary Pignolet; and his grandchildren, Ashley Gilbert (Ryan), Dylan Bishop, Michael Gracia (Emily Dubois), Jacob Rossi (Maddie Dishman), Meaghan Rossi (Trenton Hernandez), Lorynn Ventura, Laela Ventura, Colin Bishop, Ashley Lopes (Brian), Taylor Dougan (Naomi), Christopher Dougan and Courtney Dougan.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Aidan-Saint Patrick Parish (1460 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Highland Memorial Park (1 Rhode Island Ave, Johnston, RI 02919).
