We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Christopher J. Caramela of Cumberland, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Caramela and Vivian Nixon (Lyons); and his stepfather Edwin Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Caramela (Blaisdell); his stepmother Margaret Caramela of Chepatchet, RI; his daughters, Alexandra Fontaine of Woonsocket and Adrianna Caramela-Fontaine of Woonsocket; his stepchildren, Daniel Grillo of Norfolk, MA and Tanya Grillo of Blackstone, MA; his siblings, Lori Ryel (Ron) of North Brookfield, MA, Phillip Nixon of Texas and Mitchell Nixon of Providence; and his stepsiblings, Julie Glasko (Pratt), Stephen Pratt, Gail Nixon and Amy Honea (Nixon). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
