He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Caramela and Vivian Nixon (Lyons); and his stepfather Edwin Nixon. He is survived by: his wife Kristin Caramela (Blaisdell); his stepmother Margaret Caramela of Chepatchet, RI; his daughters, Alexandra Fontaine of Woonsocket and Adrianna Caramela-Fontaine of Woonsocket; his stepchildren, Daniel Grillo of Norfolk, MA and Tanya Grillo of Blackstone, MA; his siblings, Lori Ryel (Ron) of North Brookfield, MA, Phillip Nixon of Texas and Mitchell Nixon of Providence; and his stepsiblings, Julie Glasko (Pratt), Stephen Pratt, Gail Nixon and Amy Honea (Nixon). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
