She was predeceased by: her parents, David Trant and Saundra Portman. She is survived by: her children, Taryn Murphy (Frank Murphy) and Chad Recore (Samantha Recore); her grandsons, Myles Murphy and Mateo Murphy; her siblings, Joseph Trant, Lorri Mowry, Karrie Rogers and Michael DiRaimo; and her partner's children, Andre Trottier (Tara), Nicole Trottier (Scott) and Daniel Trottier (Amber).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Mitchell Farm Equine Retirement (https://www.mitchellfarm.org), as Darlene was passionate about the retired horses being able to "Frolic till the end of their days.".
