We bid farewell to Franklyn Cook of Cumberland, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 85. Franklyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Cook and Mary Cook (Conn); and his brother Sidney Davis Cook. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Collins Cook of Pawtucket, RI; his children, Robyn Bellamy (Nick) of Pawling, NY, William Cook (Danielle) of Plainville, MA and Jennifer Alarie (Philip) of Warwick, RI; his grandchildren, Sam, Will Bellamy, Max, Hannah Alarie, Ben and Libby Cook; and his sibling's children, Wayne Collins (Melissa), Pam Hall (Peter), Tim Cook (Holly) and Catherine Cook (Anne).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A requiem service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (490 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI 02860). A burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Swan Point Cemetery (585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI 02906).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 490 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
