George B. Rita Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George B. Rita of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 67, on July 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Rita and Virginia Rita (Baptista); and his brother Gabriel Rita. He is survived by: his wife Gloria F. Rita (Cardarelli); his children, Robert Beaudry of Cumberland and Robin Irving (Scott) of Warwick; and his grandchildren, Thomas Beaudry, Deklan Irving, Julianna Beaudry and Dawson Beaudry. He is also survived by his sister-in-laws and his brother-in-laws; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or to the Hotel for Homeless Dogs, 44 Martin Street, Cumberland, RI 02864.
