She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Nelson McGovern; her parents, Vincenzo Piccolo and Florence Piccolo (Gagnon); her son Dennis McGovern; and her sister Jacqueline Fickle.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph McGovern (Dawn) of Cumberland, RI, Brenda and Barbara McGovern of Providence, RI.; her grandchildren, Amanda, Sarah and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Alex, Cameryn, Kylie, Mikayla, Xander and Easton.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
