She was predeceased by : her husband Edward F. Carter; her parents, Armand Petrin and Alda A. Petrin (Beauregard); and her son James Carter. She is survived by : her daughter Diane Campbell of Virginia; and her nieces, Beth Levesque and Linda Allen. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Ri Veteran Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
