He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Murphy and Nathalie Murphy (Peckham); and his siblings, Frank Murphy, Robert Murphy, Thomas Murphy and Gerald Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Murphy (Mortimer); his siblings, Michael Murphy (Kathleen) of New Jersey and Nathalie Conway (James) of Norton, MA.; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Murphy and Mary Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
