He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Saunders and Margaret Saunders (Holiman); and his sibling Leddi Saunders McGrath (Scott) of Pennsylvania. He is survived by: his wife Valerie A. Saunders (Marchionne); his children, Alexandra C. Saunders (Liam Feldstein), John T. Saunders and Hannah M. Saunders; and his siblings-in-law, Christine R. Hendricken (Stephen), Albert J. Marchionne, Jr. and Robert N. Marchionne (Louise). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
