It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith A. Ofcarcik of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Ofcarcik; her parents, Anthony and Mary E. Penkala (Fullam); her sister Edith Bardy; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Bardy and Priscilla Penkala.
She is survived by: her children, David J. Ofcarcik (Debra) of Paxton, MA and Lynne M. Pendergrass (Garret) of Aledo, TX.; her brother Donald Penkala (Barbara) of Dudley, MA; her grandchildren, Kyle D. Ofcarcik (Leslie Donovan-Ofcarcik) of Worcester, MA, Kendall A. Ofcarcik (Nikolaus Bernardone) of Fort Meyers, FL and Sage K. Pendergrass of Madison, MS.; and her great grandchildren, Paxton K. Ofcarcik and Logan G. Ofcarcik. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Historic St. Joseph Church (1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the St. Denis Cemetery.
