He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie "Lee" Thorsen (Shields); his parents, Theodore "Ted" Thorsen and Georgia Thorsen (Shephardson); and his siblings, Eunice Fackler Bennett, Georgia Hunt and Theodore "Butch" Thorsen.

He is survived by: his children, Ken, Ann Kathleen "Kathy" Thorsen of Cumberland, Amy Thorsen (Sudip "Sid" Jhaveri) of Seattle, WA, John B. Thorsen (Nancy) of Bedford, MA and James "Jim" Thorsen (Cindy) of Cumberland. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Rd., Cumberland RI 02864, would be greatly appreciated.
