He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexandre and Guilhermina; and his siblings, Maria, Isabel, Antonio, Jose Roque, Joaquim, Ilda, Rosa and Armando.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Arminda; and his brother Fernando Fino. He is also survived by his children and their spouses.
