He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose DaCosta and Deolinda DaCosta (Loureiro); and his brothers, Claudino Santos and Antonio Costa. He is survived by: his wife Joaquina Santos; his sons, Carlos, Rui and Victor Santos; his grandchildren, Eric, Sabrina, Amanda, Shane, Nickolas, Antonio, Jamison and Arianna; and his siblings, Maria Violante Torres, Clarinda Martins, Dolores Medeiros and Carminda Antunes.
