It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael J. McLacken of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William McLacken and Jame McLacken (McMullen). He is survived by: his wife Susan McLacken (Mummery); his daughter Kerrin Cornell (Wayne) of North Smithfield; his stepchildren, Jennifer McDonald of Lincoln and Ryan McDonald (Ruth) of Duluth, GA; and his grandchildren, Mateo, Aidan, Ethan, Chloe, Noah and Holden.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Hotel for Homeless Dogs, 44 Martin St., Cumberland, RI 02864.
