He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Silva (Holgate); his parents, Raymond Silva and Emma Silva (Nunes); and his sisters, Beatrice Randall and Doris Hutchinson.
He is survived by: his children, John R. Silva (Renee) and Jill A. Marquis (David); his grandchildren, Kathryn Kasen (Todd) and Zachary Marquis; his great grandchild Elijah Kasen; and his siblings, George Silva and Elizabeth Lawrence.
