He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Arthur Benjamin and Lucille Benjamin (Carrier); and his sibling Claire Jolly. He is survived by: his wife Ella Benjamin (Milliman); his children, Cheryl Benjamin, Robert Benjamin Jr. (Kathleen), Russell Benjamin (Joy), Michelle Poirier (Douglas) and Melissa Pimental (Donald); and his siblings, Janine Lariviere, Jane Pence and Gerald Benjamin. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
