It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald L. Soucy of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane L. Soucy (Delisle); and his parents, Lucien W. Soucy and Doris Soucy (Hamel). He is survived by: his children, Jon R. Soucy of Cumberland and Amy L. Anshewitz (Jason) of North Attleboro; and his sisters, Sandra J. Lachapelle (Robert) of West Greenwich and Linda N. Hosbond of Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (57 Division St, Manville, RI 02838).
