It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simone Francis Karbonik of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, August Roy and Emily Roy (Brousseau); and her husband Michael Karbonik. She is survived by: her children, David of Cumberland, Peter Karbonik (Nidia) of Cumberland, Kathy Halle (David) of Baltimore, Carol LaPorte (Jan Jaap) and Anne Karbonik of Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Juliana, Elise Karbonik of Cumberland, Jaap and Jesse LaPorte.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
