He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jose and Elisa Mendes (Rosa). He is survived by: his parents, Augusto Mendes of Cumberland and Elaine Mendes (Barata) of Cumberland; his children, Lola Mendes and Zayne Mendes; his sister Lisa Emidio (Hugo); his grandparents, Antonio and Dinora Barata (Rosa) of Cumberland; his goddaughter Beatriz Emidio; and his nephew Oliver Emidio. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
