He was predeceased by: his wife Madeline F. Caldwell (Hobbs); his parents, Scottish and Charlotte Caldwell (Elliot); his child Allison Caldwell; his grandson Jeffrey Sousa; his siblings, Joyce Drake, Mary Fallon, Robert E. Caldwell and Elmer A. Caldwell; Isabel Engley.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott A. Caldwell (Peggy) of Cumberland and Glen C. Caldwell (Anne) of Martha's Vineyard, MA.; his stepdaughters, Susan Bostian of New Jersey, Nancy Pelletier (Ed) of Cumberland and Maddy Jean Higgins-Cinieri (Peter) of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Scott, Samantha, Julia, Keith, Andrew, Jason and Katie. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
