It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Hopp of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, born in Coventry, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Emile "Freddy" Shadeck and Madeline Shadeck (Warburton); and her siblings, Judy Higgins and Frederick Shadeck. She is survived by : her husband Philip J. "Hoppy" Hopp; her children, Gary Hopp (Catherine), Christopher Hopp (Cynthia) and Tracy Armstrong (Thomas); and her brothers, Ronald and Alan Shadeck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

As a lifelong champion of animals memorial donations in Barbara's name may be made to the ASPCA.
