With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Deshazo in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, born in Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 2, 2026 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Edwin departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edwin leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. B. W. DeShazo and Charlotte Jean McKay DeShazo. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Palter; and his siblings, Jean Louise DeShazo Jumet, William Wood DeShazo, John Daniel DeShazo and Thomas Andrew DeShazo. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews, seven grand nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends.
