He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mae Carbone (Smith); and his siblings, Marilyn E Davis and Thomas L Carbone. He is survived by: his wife Elaine L Carbone (Chassey); his children, Thomas J Carbone (Jeanne), Linda E. McNamara (John III), Stephen P Carbone (Cheryl) and Patricia E Colgan (Christopher); his grandchildren, Lisa E Schoonerman (Christopher) (Carbone), John J McNamara IV (Caroline), Thomas J Carbone Jr. (Nina), Patrick R McNamara, Lauren J (Carbone), Piagari (Matthew), Melissa E (McNamara), Rodger (Justin), David R Carbone (Samantha), Christina C Carbone, Robert J Carbone II (Alyssa), Stephen P Carbone Jr., Christopher R Colgan and Elizabeth E Colgan; and his great grandchildren, Cayden, Taylor, Peyton Schoonerman, Jack, Myra McNamara, Emilia, Anthony Carbone, Charlotte, Poppy Piagari, Virginia, Bennett Rodger and Kendall Carbone.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home (142 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI 02886). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (99 Peirce St, East Greenwich, RI 02818).
