He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Macera (Jencks); his parents, Vito A. Macera and Elsie I. Macera (Miller); his son Stephen M. Macera Jr. (Ponch); and his sister Marian Jencks-Dyer.
He is survived by: his children, Angela M. Briggs (Edward) of East Greenwich, Debra I. Macera and Vito A. Macera; his nephews, Butch and Daniel Jencks; his grandchildren, Stephen M. Macera III (Jen), Blake R. Macera (Rachel), Colby Blanchard (Jeffrey), Cassandra Tibbits (Michael), Kristina Macera, Kerry Macera and Edman Barnes; his sister Judith Walton; his sister-in-law Rose M. Vierra; and his daughter-in-law Tammy A. Macera. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
