We announce the death of Amancio Aguiar of East Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Amancio will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and Maria (Janeiro) of Jesus; and his siblings, Gilbert, Josemaria and Joao Aguiar.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Paul A. Aguiar (Connie Brum), Ricardo Aguiar (Didia), Ann Pereira (Lenny) and Nelson Aguiar (Sally); his grandchildren, Zachary, Evan, Collin, Logan and Kacey; and his siblings, Mariajose Cabral, Maria Souza, Mariana Benevides and Grace Rodrigues.
