Arthur Mello Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Mello (East Providence, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mello and Mary Mello (Leiter); his son Mark Mello; and his brothers, Joseph Mello, Daniel Mello and Edward Mello.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Mello (Healy); his children, Jennifer Lawrence, Matthew Mello (Tracy Barboza) and Kathleen Mello (Patrick Evans); his grandchildren, Jacob Lawrence, Hannah Mello, Matthew Lawrence, Barrett Evans and Elizabeth Evans; and his brother Frank Mello. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Mary D. Fund Block Island or Doorways of Seekonk would be greatly appreciated.
