He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Maia Jr. and Mary Maia (Dias). He is survived by: his children, Heather Costa, Trisha Maia, Daniel Maia, Hailey Pimentel and Joseph Maia; and his siblings, Joyce McNeil, Mary Carney, Cheryl O'Neil and Anthony "Tony" Maia. He is also survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
