Monteiro; her children, Alda Dhingra (Pavanjit), Soraya Trzuskowski (David), Vasco Monteiro, Maria Monteiro and Peter Monteiro; her grandchildren, Amar, Jenna and Alexis; her great grandchildren, Samir and Taran; and her siblings, Autilia, Ivete, Carmen, Orisa, Ligia, Antero, Franklin, Emanuel and Susete. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
