She was predeceased by: her parents, James McCarten and Joan Goodwin (Corbett); her stepfather Virgil Goodwin; and her husband Michael. She is survived by: her son David McCarten (Angela); her stepchildren, Michael Bettencourt Jr. (Jen) and Jodi Mackie (John); her grandchildren, David Jr., Madison, Grace, Michael, Lainy, Joseph and Jordyn; and her siblings, Eileen McCarten-Jencks, Sharon Kovner and Virgil Goodwin. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
