He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marilyn O. Stephens (Adey); his parents, Edward and Ellamae Stephens, Jr. (Russell); his children, Laurel S. Rosa (Stephen) of Rehoboth, Rebecca L. Springer (Damian) of Rehoboth, Edward Stephens, IV (Cindy) of Mendon, MA and Adam Stephens of Rehoboth; his grandchildren, Damian, Ryan, Olivia, Alexis, Samantha, Linsey, Ella and Charlie; his great grandchildren, Julia, Levi, Aviana, Carrol Stephens and Beverly Reber (Marshall); his brother-in-law Richard Adey (Virginia); and his brother Douglas Stephens. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

After finding out I will be returning to Vietnam to meet Nancy and hearing that I will visit Clear Path International...he arrived with a 100.00 donation for the agency... their mission-to clearing old land mine ordinance from war torn local areas as well as assist in helping victims of explosions to cope and continue on.”

“Stephens family, I just found out today, 2.21.21, that Ed passed in October. I worked with Ed at Universal Press and the fact we were both Vietnam Vets, we found a unique bond based on the details of each of our experiences. At Universal, we worked in a hi-tech, hi stress environment that can easily manifest tensions, animosities, etc., but Ed's demeanor always forged our interactions into meaningful moments of friendship and camaraderie. I am sorry to have not seen him these last few years.”
