He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry B. Dawson and Bertha Dawson (Bentley); his son Harry Dawson Jr.; and his brother Joseph C. Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Claire M. Dawson (Locklin); his children, William H. Dawson of Jamestown, Thomas G. Dawson of Seattle, Washington and Kathleen Dawson-West of Gilroy, California; and his sister Marjorie Frolander of Corvallis, Oregon. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
