He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Amaral and Margarida Amaral (Martins); and his brother Carlos M. Amaral. He is survived by: his wife Maria Filomena Amaral (Sousa); his sons, Russell S. Amaral and Jason S. Amaral; his grandsons, Tyler Amaral, Maxwell Whittier and Dylan Amaral; and his sisters, Adriana Baptista, Conceicao Raposo and Ana Paula Cordeiro.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry-McStay Funeral Home (2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
