He was predeceased by: his wife Joan E. Shea (Wilson); his parents, Timothy Shea and Mary Shea (Kiernan); his daughter Patricia A. Burkett; and his brother Timothy Shea.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Butler (Tom) of Florida and Joan M. Shea-Howard (Tom) of North Attleboro; his grandchildren, Derek Butler, Jaime Lauricella, Hayley Levergne, Meredith Burkett, Zachary Burkett and Dr. Thomas Howard; his siblings-in-law, Janice Plante (Roger) and Keith Burkett; his extended family, Nancy, Trevor Michelson and Steve Medeiros; and his sister Audrey Gallogly. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
