John Moniz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Moniz of East Providence, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary A. Moniz (Parish); his parents, Antone Moniz and Mary Gloria Moniz (Andrade); his son Gary P. Moniz; his siblings, Manuel, Antone, Alfred, William, Gloria, Joseph and Jimmy Moniz; and his close friend Rosemary Gama.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony "Tony" Moniz (Deborah) of Attleboro and Elizabeth Palumbo (Kenneth) of East Providence; his grandchildren, Jonathan Moniz, Ashley Verdi and Jane Moniz; his great grandchildren, Leila Moniz, Kyra Moniz, Matthew Verdi and Elaine Verdi; and his daughter-in-law Dorothy "Sue" Delsignore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
